Photo ID Required for In-Person Voting
With the passage of Ohio House Bill 458, voters are now required to show a photo ID when voting in person (early or on Election Day). Previously, voters had the option to show an alternate form of ID, like a utility bill, bank statement or paycheck indicating their current address.

Acceptable photo IDs include an unexpired Ohio driver's license, a state ID card, a U.S. military ID card, an Ohio National Guard ID, a U.S. Department of Veterans ID card, or an unexpired U.S. passport.
