Education Forum: Heights Schools and COVID-Achievements and Needs
About this event
Heights administrators will give a district-wide perspective, and Heights teachers and guidance counselors will share their up-close experiences of what has been accomplished, what needs to continue, and what should be developed to help students learn and thrive emotionally after the disruption of in-person teaching during the COVID crisis.
Panelists include the following Cleveland Heights-University Heights educators:
Elizabeth Kirby, superintendent of schools
Dr. LaShonda Abdussatar, director of social and emotional learning
Jeffrey Johnston, principal, Monticello Middle School
Cassandra Budin, teacher, math/engineering, Heights High School
Andrea Briggs, teacher, kindergarten, Canterbury Elementary
