Mission Statement: <br />Help increase diversity, equity, and inclusion in LWVGC through membership, education, leadership, and advocacy.<br />We meet quarterly in January, April, July, and October on the second Thursday.<br /><br />Goals:<br /> Increase diversity within LWVGC by reaching out to diverse communities<br />for membership and leadership.<br /> Host events, including voter registration, in areas where LWVCC has not<br />had a steady presence such as the LGBTQ community.<br /> Advocate on issues related to diversity, equity, and inclusion throughout<br />Northeast Ohio.<br />Provide ongoing educational opportunities on DEI for LWVGC members.<br /> Host League-wide events with a DEI lens at places like the Cozad–Bates<br />House Interpretive Center.
