The merger of the Cleveland Area, Cuyahoga Area, and Shaker Heights Leagues is now complete. The national League (LWVUS) recognized the LEAGUE OF WOMEN VOTERS OF GREATER CLEVELAND in June and necessary paperwork has been filed with the State of Ohio. This website will be the temporary Internet home for the new League. A new, redesigned website will come soon.

LWV GREATER CLEVELAND is poised to become an active voice in countywide advocacy and to further its mission in providing voter information for Cuyahoga County voters. Several communities are fortunate to have local chapters of LWV GREATER CLEVELAND—Bay Village, Cleveland, Cleveland Heights-University Heights, Fairview Park, Hillcrest, Lakewood, Rocky River, Shaker Heights, and Westlake/North Olmsted. These chapters will continue to provide voter service and advocacy for good government within their communities.

Anyone interested in joining LWV GREATER CLEVELAND can do so at any time. Dues are $60 for individual memberships, $90 for a household (includes one additional member), and $30 for students. Online payments, which will be accessible on the new website, will cost $5 more. Anyone joining using a membership form of one of the pre-merged Leagues will automatically become a member of LWV GREATER CLEVELAND.
